The Attorney-General for Australia, Senator the Hon George Brandis QC, has commissioned the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) to undertake the first comprehensive review of the family law system since the commencement of the Family Law in 1976.
This review is necessary and long overdue.

Every person over the age of eighteen should seriously consider making a Will. Making a Will gives you the control of how your estate will be divided on your death, and also who will divide it.
Dying without a Will means your property is divided according to a strict legislative formula known as ‘intestacy’, and you or your family have no say in how the estate will be divided.
